December 2010

Happy Holidays!

As 2010 draws to an end, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the Simsbury Land Trust. Your financial contributions and donations of time and talent are very much appreciated by everyone at the Simsbury Land Trust. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year!

Final Stretch for the Campaign for Simsbury

Free pint of Tulmeadow Farm Ice Cream for any donation of $10 or more.

We are less than $50,000 away from our goal of $2.83 million needed to permanently protect the Tulmeadow Farm Woodlot. If you have already contributed to the project, we thank you. If you have not yet contributed to the woodlot, we hope you consider a year end donation to help us reach our goal. A letter and a donation envelope was sent town-wide last week in the mail with details of the final fundraising goal. If you have any questions or would like an envelope, please contact the office. All donors sending in $10 or more for the campaign will receive a coupon for a free pint of Tulmeadow Farm Ice Cream.

Membership Renewal Time!

Memberships in the Simsbury Land Trust are based on the calendar year. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2011, we hope you will consider doing so. Your membership contribution are used for the daily operation of the SLT -- stewardship, recreation and education, member events, newsletters, the annual report, the office and our part time staff, and other activities related to our mission.
